You can update and apply changes to both live and draft scorecard template. Template updates are categorized into either Major changes and Minor changes.
Major changes include:
- Adding or removing scoring rules
- Removing entities
- Adding or removing pages
- Changing the page order
Minor changes include:
- Adding or removing fields
- Adding or removing hidden fields
- Modifying field properties
- Adding or removing a section
- Renaming pages
- Adding an entity
- Modifying scoring weights
- Configuring rule thresholds
- Modifying lookup tables
- Modifying credentials
- Modifying modules
- Modifying Reason Codes
- Modifying Additional Review
- Configure monitoring event
How-To: Update a Live Scorecard Template
When applying minor changes…
- Open the Scorecards page from the admin menu.

Open a live scorecard template you wish to update. All live templates will indicate ‘LIVE’ in the header, in the Scorecard Editor.

Apply any minor changes to the scorecard. When complete, click the ‘Save’ icon in the top right.

NOTE: When saving minor changes to a live scorecard template, all scorecards launched referencing that template will also be modified moving forward.

Do not wish to save your changes to the template? You can save a draft copy of the updated scorecard template instead by clicking the 3-dot menu, select ‘Save As’, provide a name for your new scorecard copy, then click ‘Save’. You now have a new scorecard draft template that includes all your changes.

When applying major changes…

Open the Scorecards page from the admin menu.

Open a live scorecard template you wish to update. All live templates will indicate ‘LIVE’ in the header, in the Scorecard Editor.

Apply any major changes to the scorecard. When complete, click the ‘Save’ icon in the top right.

You will be prompted to create a new copy of the scorecard template. Provide a name for the new template copy and click ‘Continue’

Select how you would like to release your new template copy.

Release into existing transaction: The current template will be deactivated and replaced with the updated template copy. Scorecard transactions launched going forward will use the updated template copy.

Click ‘Release’ and then provide any comments that can offer insights and/or context about the changes applied to the template.

Release into new transaction: A new transaction will be created with the updated template copy. Launcher configurations and API calls may require updates to launch this transaction.

Provide a new name for your transaction, select ‘Release’, and provide any comments that can offer insights and/or context about the changes applied to the template.

Save for later: This will save the new template copy as a draft. You can decide to release this template into a transaction at a later date.

Click ‘Release’

If you are applying major and minor changes at the same time, the process for saving major changes will apply.
Update a Draft Scorecard Template
Since draft templates are not live yet, you can apply any changes, major or minor, without being required to save a new template copy.
To apply changes to a draft scorecard template:

Open the Scorecards page from the admin menu.

Open a draft scorecard template you wish to update. Click here to learn how to distinguish draft templates in the Scorecard page.

Apply any major or minor changes to your scorecard template

If any scoring rules were updated or removed, you may need to redistribute your scoring weights before saving your changes

When all changes are done, click the ‘Save’ icon to save your updated template. This will also update all scorecards launched using this template moving forward.
