Bulk send is a mass upload product function in Agreement Express (AEX) that allows multiple scorecards to be processed at once. After the file is uploaded and successful, the scorecard will either generate as a draft or immediately, and integrations will take place based on the existing risk model.
1.0 Objective
The purpose of this guide is to provide users with the information needed to create scorecards in bulk using a CSV upload. It is important to note that the upload file must be in CSV format.

5.0 Instructions
ScanX Bulk upload can be broken out into 3 stages
Stage 1: Build the CSV (bulk upload will only work using .CSV file format)
Stage 2: Upload the CSV
Stage 3: Review and Publish the Scorecard, if applicable
5.1 Stage 1: Build the CSV
All of the fields on the scorecard(s) can be added to the CSV. AEX supplies a list of standard default fields that are required to a) run standard integrations and b) for standard postbacks. If there are custom rules/fields, you may need to request these separately.
The list of field names and requirements is available here
Step 1: Add CSV Minimum required column headers
There are two column headers that are required to successfully upload the CSV. They are;
-
Transaction name (also known as Reference ID)
-
label: AccountOwner1
Transaction name
The Transaction name is listed under Transactions in the Administrator console. The column header for the transaction name should always be, transaction name: transaction name. If using the example below, the transaction name would be Scorecard: Scorecard.
label: AccountOwner1
The column header label: AccountOwner1 is required for the bulk upload to work
Step 2: Input Values for required columns
Transaction: Enter “1” for the transaction to be part of the upload, or leave blank if not required. Do not add numbers sequentially in this column.
label: AccountOwner1: can be an underwriter’s email. Please note that no email will be sent
Step 3: Add the remaining column headers. The column headers are the field names on the scorecard. Contained in this sheet is the list of field names and what fields are needed for the scorecard integrations to successfully run: list of fields
Step 4: After you have built the CSV, you can input the data. If you are unsure of the data formats, please refer to the spreadsheet in Step 3.
Here’s a sample csv
There should be no empty rows in the .CSV file otherwise it will result in failures for each empty row.
5.2 Upload the CSV
It is suggested to have up to 100 scorecards in each batch of the CSV file to allow the system to process it efficiently.
The overall process for bulk send is illustrated below:
-
Go to “Administration” and scroll to “Tools” and click on “Bulk Send”
2. Click on “Uploads” on the left panel
3. Then Click the Pink (+) icon in the bottom right corner
4. Enter a Name for the upload (Tips: It is suggested to include date as part of the naming convention for easy reference.)
5. Add tags to the batch upload so that the bulk scorecard can be identified for the underwriter’s action on the workspace view.
Note:
-
Tags are added to the upload and also to every scorecard published
-
Tags cannot be added to the upload after it is created
6. Click the Browse button
7. Select the .CSV
8. Click Open
9. Click on the Upload button
10. Click on the Upload row
11. If you want to upload the CSV to Draft scorecards which can be reviewed prior to the integrations being run, uncheck Skip Landing Pages. The Send Configuration will default to Draft
If you don’t want to review scorecards in Draft first, you can uncheck Skip Landing Pages and then check Send Direct which will generate Active Scorecards (integrations will run)
12. Create Cases and then click Confirm
After the file is uploaded, there will be a spinning icon indicating the upload is in progress. Scorecards are created almost immediately therefore it’s recommended you go back to Workspace and refresh
5.3 Stage 3: Review and Publish the Scorecard, if applicable
In Workspace, you will see the newly created scorecards either in Draft or Active status. You also have the option to filter the scorecards by Tags if you added a tag upon upload
If the scorecard is in Active Status, it is ready to be reviewed by an underwriter once all of the integrations have finished
If the scorecard is in Draft Status;
-
While the scorecard is in draft status, you can the ability to amend the data, if needed. If you’re happy with the data, select Publish. This will turn the scorecard to Active and run the integrations.
