ScanX Real Time Underwriting Updates

Overview

ScanX has introduced real-time updates to its underwriting experience, delivering scoring data faster and more transparently. Underwriters can now view results from KYC SiteScan rules as each integration completes, rather than waiting for the full Scorecard report to finalize. This allows underwriting teams to monitor progress in real time while still ensuring that decisions are only made when all checks are complete. These enhancements reduce mental load, help identify issues earlier, and ultimately speed up the review process.

• Enabled KYC SiteScan integration

• Underwriter or admin-level permissions to view Scorecard

Navigating to ScanX Scorecard

1. Log in to ScanX

2. Open a Scorecard that has been created, ideally one that is newly created with integrations still running

How does Real-Time Underwriting work?

With the new Real-Time API for KYC SiteScan, the ScanX platform now returns scoring rule results individually as each data KYC SiteScan check completes. This allows underwriters to begin reviewing available results immediately. However, a final underwriting recommendation and overall score are still withheld until all rules and integrations finish running, ensuring reviews are based on complete data.

For underwriters, this means:

• Live review of applications while in progress instead of waiting for full PDF report to generate

• Continuous updates on rule completion status.

• Clear UI cues for in-progress vs. completed rules.

UI updates for Real-Time Underwriting in Scorecards

We’ve updated several elements of the Scorecard viewer UI to make it clear to underwriters the overall status of the Scorecard, as well as the individual integrations, so they know what’s ready for their review and what is still running.

In progress integrations menu

1. Click the Actions menu, then select Integrations.

2. Each KYC SiteScan scoring rule is now shown individually.

   • Light blue icon = In progress

   • Green icon = Successful

   • Red icon = Failed

   

Understand Color-Coding for Scoring Rules

• In-progress rules appear in light blue on the Scorecard.

• The Score section will show “In progress” until results are ready.

• Once complete, the score will be displayed in its place.

  

View Page Score Progress

• At the top of each Scorecard page, a Page Score section appears.  This will no longer show a score until all integrations are done running on the page. 

• Light blue animation indicates that rules on the page are still running.

  
   

Understand the Overall Scorecard Summary

• Overall Score will show a light blue “In progress” label and animation until all integrations are done running on the Scorecard. 

• System Decision won't show a decision recommendation until all integrations are done running and overall score and flags are available to make the recommendation.

  

Enabling Real Time Underwriting

1. Real Time Underwriting will be deployed to all clients in production on January 14th, 2026
2. The UI updates will be applied to all clients, even if KYC SiteScan is not in use
3. If you run into any issues that you think are caused by Real Time Underwriting, contact support@agreementexpress.com support who can assist with troubleshooting and roll back the update if necessary

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I make a decision before all rules are complete?
   No. While data becomes available earlier, underwriting recommendations are still disabled until all rules finish running.

2. What do the blue, green, and red icons mean?

   1. Blue: Rule is still running.

   2. Green: Rule completed successfully.

   3. Red: Rule failed or returned an error.

3. What changed in the Scorecard viewer UI?
   The interface now shows each rule individually with its real-time status, and uses color cues to improve clarity and focus for underwriters.

4. What if a rule fails (red icon)?
   You can still view partial results, but should investigate the failure before making a final underwriting decision.
