Objective: The purpose of this document is to inform you on how to Assign Transactions to Access Control Groups. You may want to use this feature to manage a team of individuals that commonly collaborate and require access to a set of transactions.
As of Q2 2022, Workgroups has been replaced by Access Control Groups. See the Access Control Groups Customer Guide for more information.

Assign an Access Control Group to a Case
Option 1: From the Workspace
Click the checkbox beside any Agreement(s) in the Workspace to reveal the Action Bar.

Select Edit Access Group

A dialog will appear where you can select or de-select any number of Access Control Groups
Option 2: From CSV Upload
Add the aexACGroups header (case insensitive) to your CSV template for Bulk Upload.

For each case that you need to assign, add the Access Control Group ID on that row under the aexACGroups header.
The Access Control Group ID can be found within the Access Control Manager under Administration > Access Control Manager > Group ID.Multiple workgroups can be assigned - simply use comma’s (ie, 324,425,43)
AEX will automatically assign an entire Case to Access Control Groups assigned at the transaction level within a CSV template
When the template is uploaded the cases will be assigned automatically to the specified Access Control Group(s).
Filter Cases Assigned to a Workgroup
Log into the Agreement Express Workspace
Identify the Access Control Group column
Hover over the column to reveal a three line menu
