PASSWORD POLICY
System-wide password requirements
Problem: I want to ensure that all user passwords meet security and compliance standards and lock users out after numerous failed attempts to make sure it is the user trying to log in.
Solution: New password requirements now apply to all users on their next password reset. Users will now be locked out after 5 failed login attempts and receive a password reset email in order to regain access to their account.
-
Password Requirements
-
Minimum length: 12
-
Minimum numeric characters: 1
-
Minimum alphabetic characters: 1
-
Can't use the same password as the last 4 previous ones.
-
-
Lockout Functionality
-
After 5 failed password attempts, the user’s account will be locked out and they will be unable to log in until they reset their password.
-
A password reset email will be sent to the email associated with the user’s email account.
-
The password lockout message is ambiguous to not indicate to a bad actor whether or not they have any credentials correct.
-
Automatically Available?
-
The lockout is available for all users
-
New users will be required to meet the new password requirements
-
Existing users will be forced to update to the new requirements next time they reset their password
SCANX and IRIS CRM
View ScanX scorecard in IRIS CRM
Problem: I want to be able to view scorecards in IRIS CRM and move between IRIS and Agreement Express more quickly to help complete underwriting tasks faster.
Solution: ScanX scorecards are now accessible in IRIS CRM. Users who have Agreement Express accounts can view a list of all scorecards on the new My Underwriting page in IRIS CRM or the scorecard associated with a specific lead on a lead record.
Automatically Available? Existing partners of both IRIS CRM and Agreement Express had their company settings pre-configured; individual users need to connect their two accounts using an API token.

Solution: For partners who work with Giact, we now offer support for the gOFAC rule in ScanX.

LexisNexis Individual Risk - Exclude specific watchlists for WL code
Problem: LexisNexis Individual KYC Risk rule flags for watch lists that aren’t required for my risk review.
Solution: In the Credentials page of the Scorecard Editor, you can now identify which Watch Lists you want to monitor from LexisNexis. Refer to the LexisNexis API documentation for a list of codes, or contact support. (eg. FBI, PEP). If your rule is enabled to flag for the WL Code, it will only flag if the code returned is included in your credentials settings.
Automatically Available? No, requires configuration of lists in the Scorecard Editor.
