Release 21.04
The 21.04 Release is scheduled for deployment on March 23rd, 2021. Updates will be available in your production environment on March 24th, 2021 unless otherwise noted. Included in this release will be some enhancements to some net-new features in addition to enhancements to current features you may already be familiar with. Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) should you have any questions about features in this release and their impact on you or your end clients.
AEX CORE UPDATES
Loading Indicator displayed when publishing a transaction
Why did we make this change? Sometimes publishing a transaction - especially larger cases - can take quite the long time. Displaying a loading indicator on publish from a FAB, helps the user to identify that an action is in progress.
Who is impacted? All Publishers in Agreement Express will see this update.
Is any Action Required? No action is required in order to activate this new feature.
Description: When a publisher selects transactions in Workspace and clicks ‘Launch Transaction’, a loading bar will appear at the top of your Workspace Dashboard to indicate that the system is loading the transaction. Once it is complete, your transaction opens in a new tab. Previously, there was no loading indicator when the system was compiling the case.
Notification Bubbles - Action Center
Why did we make this change? We’ve added notification bubbles on the Action Pending tab and the Error tab to show that there are new transactions / cases in the Pending Action or Error Tabs. We’ve also added a notification bubble in Workspace next to ‘Action Center’ when there is an integration task in the ‘Action Pending’ or ‘Error’ Queues of Action Center.
Who is impacted? All Publishers and Company Admins in Agreement Express who have Action Centre configured will see this update.
Is any Action Required? No action is required in order to activate this new feature, unless your company does not have Action Center configured. Contact your CSM if you would like this enabled in your company.
Description: In Action Center, you will see a red icon next to the ‘Action Pending’ and ‘Error’ Queues. This will identify for the user which queue has new integration task issues for review. In Workspace, this update adds a red indicator in Workspace next to ‘Action Center’ when there is an integration task in the ‘Action Pending’ or ‘Error’ Queues of Action Center.
Warning for non-Wet Ink Signatures
Why did we make this change? Users want to receive a warning in the form of a popup if signatures in the transaction/case are not wet ink supported when they “Print, Sign & Send” (Wet Ink) a transaction/case. So, we made it happen.

Description: When a system user attempts to use the Print, Sign & Send (Wet Ink) feature on a form that is not configured to support this feature, an error message will indicate which signatures are not supported.
Added Change signer with EAP support to Bulk Send case card
Why did we make this change? Sometimes, mistakes happen. So, we’ve added the ability for a Publisher or Company Admin to Change Signer Email Address in the new Bulk Send Interface.
Who is impacted? All Publishers and Company Admins in Agreement Express will see this update, if your company is licensed for Bulk Send.
Is any Action Required? No action is required in order to activate this new feature. Please speak to your CSM if you are interested in our Bulk Send capabilities.
Description: Not just changing signers, this enhancement also allows you to edit the Enhanced Access Protection Phone Number for recipients in companies where this feature is enabled.
Flattening merged PDFs
Why did we make this change? When downloading/printing a Case there is an option to merge the forms into a single PDF. This previously resulted in broken PDF signature certificates. This update removes the Signatures (flattens the PDF) when you download or print using the merged PDF option.

Description: Printing / Downloading a Case allows for the option of merging all the PDFs into a single PDF. This results in broken PDF signatures, which can cause problems for clients’ external systems if we send them the merged PDF. Since the merged PDF is used as a print copy there is no need to have any of the signatures or fields. Thus, the PDF can be flattened. The original PDFs (ie. the ones stored with the document itself) should keep the signatures, remaining untouched. So printing by individual PDF will still have the signatures while the merged copy will not.
Signature Sizing - Match SVG with signature block
Why did we make this change? Oddly-sized signatures on digital paperwork looks just as messy as it does on real paperwork. So, we’ve matched the size of our signature types with the signature blocks that will appear on Signing Documents.
Who is impacted? All Users in Agreement Express will see this update, if the Cursive Signature type is enabled.
Is any Action Required? No action is required in order to activate this new feature. Please speak to your Customer Success Manager for more information about the Cursive Font signature registration.
Description: This update changes the size of the Mobile Signature SVG size to match the area of the signing block (yellow rectangle). This applies to both the PDF viewed in AEX and in the printed version.
Bug Fixes
SVG Creation - Cannot scroll to Create Signature button on iOS 14
Description: An issue has been resolved for iPhone iOS 14 where buttons in the registration process were not visible in landscape view.
