AEX CORE UPDATES
Rewind by Case and Transaction
Why did we make this change? Rewind has been enhanced to enable you to rewind your entire case or select transactions. The Rewind by Transaction feature provides more flexibility for users when a correction needs to be made to data, and allows the rewind feature to support Agreement Express' householding functionality. This feature eliminates the requirement that every transaction within a case must have the same signing levels in order for rewind to work. It also allows users to rewind select transactions within a case to make corrections while letting other transactions that do not need to be modified to continue to completion .
Who is impacted by this change? All Publishers and Company Administrators of Agreement Express publishing transactions with the Rewind security profile enabled will see this update.
Is any Action Required? No action is required in order to activate this new feature. However, you can request that the Company setting be reverted to the old Rewind case to level functionality by contacting your CSM or our Support team.
Description:
In a householding scenario, rewind by transaction allows one signer within the case to complete all of their transactions while another signer’s transactions can be rewound to correct an error. The completed transactions would remain complete.
Here is a list of scenarios to help describe which Rewind option to select:

Client (Recipients) |
This enables the advisor to selectively rewind the transactions that require changes back to a particular signing level even though there are transactions that are complete in the Case. The completed transactions are not affected. |

Advisor |
This enables the advisor to selectively rewind the transaction that requires changes to draft. The advisor can update the data on the landing pages or signing documents. The transaction being rewound to draft will be removed from the rest of the case and act independently as there can not be a mix of draft and active/done transactions in a case. |
A case contains some transactions that are correct and still active (signing not complete) and some transactions that require updates. |
|
X |
Client (Recipient) |
This enables the advisor to selectively rewind the transactions that require changes back to a particular level while still leaving the correct active transactions unaffected. |
Scenario that is not available. Rewinding an entire case to a specific level is not available. Use Rewind by Case to bring all underlying transactions to draft to make updates across all applicable transactions.
