How to Prevent Spam Filtering | ||
If your clients are not receiving your emails sent from Agreement Express, it could be due to spam filtering. This filtering occurs because the Agreement Express email server is not recognized as being associated with your organization. We recommend notifying your affected clients that they can add Agreement Express servers to their Sender Policy Framework (SPF) record to keep our emails from being filtered as spam.
What is SPF? An email authentication protocol that allows the owner of a domain to specify which mail servers they use to send mail from that domain.
How It Works: SPF records are published in the sending company’s Domain Name System (DNS). These records list which IP addresses are authorized to send email on behalf of their domains. During an SPF check, email providers verify the SPF record by looking up the domain name listed in the return address in the DNS. If the IP address sending email on behalf of the domain isn’t listed in that SPF record, the message fails SPF authentication. Having your clients whitelist our servers will ensure email from the domain is being delivered.

How It’s Done: This configuration is generally performed by members of the IT Support team. Add the following servers to your email-related SPF record to enable Agreement Express servers to send out emails without getting caught in spam filters: |

The emails sent from Agreement Express will have the from: field display “DoNotReply@<customersubdomain>.com” where “<customersubdomain>” will be customized by your organization (e.g.: DoNotReply@acme.com) |
