Scoring Rule Added: Microbilt Banking Risk

Problem: I want to check the risk profile of a merchant's bank account.

Solution: ScanX now supports an integration and scoring rule for Microbilt's Risk Verification Database (RVD) Advantage.

RVD Advantage is designed to reduce fatal returned items such as no account or account not found.

Some key benefits of RVD Advantage include:

• Verifies the bank routing number is valid and active in the US or Canada.

• Utilizes sophisticated algorithms and proprietary processes to ensure the structure of the account presented conforms to the known structure(s) utilized by the bank issuing the account.

• Alerts you if the account has been reported as closed or if there are current outstanding unpaid items.

• Details number of unauthorized returns reported on the account within the last 12 months.

• Alerts you if the account has a history of returning debits and the average days for payment.

• Identifies the number and dollar amount of unpaid returns on the account.

• Meets qualifications for the Nacha WEB debit rule.

Automatically Available? No. To utilize this rule, customers will require an account with Microbilt that is configured for this product. Further, the new integration and related scoring rules will have to be added to your ScanX Risk Scorecard(s). Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager for more details.
